WiFi Password Viewer is an app that allows you to see the passwords for the Wi-Fi networks you've connected to in the past, as well as the one you're currently connected to. As such, this app cannot decrypt a Wi-Fi password for a network you've never connected to.
In order to use WiFi Password Viewer, you must have root permissions. Wi-Fi passwords on Android are securely stored as system information, so you can only access them if you have superuser permissions. On some devices, such as those manufactured by Samsung, it's impossible to access these passwords because they're not only protected by the system but also encrypted. WiFi Password Viewer can't show you the real password if your device has encrypted it.
On the complete list of passwords, you can see the name of the network and its password. If you press and hold your finger on one of the networks, you can copy the password or share it directly. You can also generate a QR code for each password or copy all the passwords you have stored on your device to back them up.
So, if you want to recover any of the Wi-Fi passwords you have stored on your Android device, downloading WiFi Password Viewer is an excellent option.
